American Indie rock at that time was incredibly vibrant and I discovered that Rock n’ Roll, or ‘Punk’ if you prefer, had been thriving and changing lives in an unbroken line of youthful creativity since the 1950′s.   Sometimes it was out of sight, sometimes folks mistook it for the weak versions shilled by labels.  Sometimes people mistook fashion for art….Fashion Rocks anyone?  No: Rock rocks.
